Tappe dell'itinerario e punti di interesse
Visit the splendid defensive castle of Grinzane Cavour, which later became the residence of Camillo Benso, Count of Cavour. We have him to thank for the great enological developments in the surrounding hills, all planted with vineyards for the production of Barolo wine. Continue on to Annunziata, a hamlet of La Morra, to visit the pieve (parish church) of San Martino. Visit the town of La Morra, surrounded by medieval bastions, and stop at the panoramic terrace and the municipal wine cellars (Cantina Comunale). Arrive in Barolo itself and visit the medieval Falletti castle, which now houses contemporary wine museum WiMu and Barolo’s Regional Enoteca.
